Fitch Ratings has assigned LoanCare a U.S. residential mortgage servicer rating of “U.S. residential primary specialty for Closed-End Second Lien products at ‘RPS2+’.” The rating comes in addition to LoanCare’s recently affirmed Fitch product ratings of “U.S. residential primary servicing rating for Prime product at ‘RPS2+'” and “U.S. residential specialty subservicer rating ‘RPS2+”.
The RPS2+ ratings reflect LoanCare’s enhanced customer service systems and processes, experienced senior management and staff, effective enterprise risk management controls, and effectively managed servicing operations.
LoanCare has serviced second lien products, such as the Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), since 2017 and has a dedicated team to servicing special loans including segmented, fully amortized, or interest-only loans.
