With over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, across all slices of the servicing spectrum, Michelle Anderson has a depth and diversity of knowledge that is hard to rival. It is LoanCare’s immense pleasure to announce that in recognition of her accomplishments and industry expertise, Michelle has been named a 2023 HousingWire Woman of Influence.

One of our industry’s most authoritative sources of news on the United States mortgage and housing markets, HousingWire Women of Influence recognizes, “a remarkable group of women in housing who represent the pinnacle of excellence and innovation. These extraordinary women have shattered glass ceilings, defied expectations and carved a path of success through their dedication, expertise and unwavering commitment to transforming the housing landscape. Through their visionary leadership, they have propelled the industry forward, driving change, fostering inclusivity and taking the reins as female executives in a traditionally male industry.”

As Senior Vice President, Client and Investor Relations, Michelle and her team are the face of LoanCare and the voice of our client and agency partners. As such, Michelle understands the importance of having a team of relationship managers who can not only talk-the-talk, but have the industry background to walk-the-walk and speak to the whole servicing experience. Having herself come up in servicing operations, Michelle can relate to the challenge of managing portfolios, and has her finger on the pulse of the organization. She and her team are in constant collaboration across departments to keep projects moving and conversations flowing.

As the voice of our clients, Michelle advocates for their needs and pushes for improvements in process or capabilities to be able to better serve them and their homeowners. Functions like the LoanCare Client Connect™ portal are a direct result of Michelle’s work to provide transparency to our clients housing alerts and notifications, industry updates, and on demand access to LoanCare Analytics™ for portfolio management and servicing oversight down to the loan level. And as we hear feedback from the homeowner experience of onboarding and loan servicing through client and homeowner surveys available through those platforms, we are able to swiftly address feedback and implement solutions in real time thanks to her advocacy.

Michelle also manages investor relationships, maintaining open communication and ensuring we deliver to the highest standard. The transparency and trust built through these relationships is a priority. Because of this trust and the confidence in our ability to provide the level of care needed in unique situations, GSEs rely on us to service directly for them when the need arises. Michelle is an integral driver of that confidence. Michelle is a champion for innovation on our team and never settles for “good enough.” Because of this, our partners know that whatever challenge may arise, we’ll solve it – taking care of them and their homeowners. Her mark on the industry, her team, and LoanCare as a whole is undeniable.

Michelle sits on a number of industry organization boards, such as the MBA Loan Administration Committee, Housing Policy Council, and Fannie Mae Servicing Advisory Board, where she is able to speak to and provide feedback for upcoming industry changes in policy, regulations, and programs. She is a regular participant in agency roundtables, providing her leadership and expertise. Michelle is also an active member of the LoanCare Women’s Initiative Council, where she works with the company’s future leaders to grow support networks, build confidence, and help enact meaningful change to the workplace as a part of the Working Parents and Caregivers focus group.

It is an incredible honor to have Michelle on our team. Read more about Michelle and the other 2023 HousingWire Women of Influence HERE.
